People for
the Ethical Treatment of Animals or PETA as it is most commonly know tends to
be filled with people who make big issues out of non-issues. I just read that
Tommy-lee, well known as the dirty looking drummer for motley crew and the guy
who can’t seem to decide if he loves Pamela Anderson or wants to beat the crap
out of he, has told Seaworld that he does not want them playing Motley-Crew’s
music. I read that and thought to myself oh that is what you concern yourself
with when you have more money then you know what to do with.
Apparently
he does not like the idea of his music being played during a show called “Shamu
Rocks” that is preformed be some killer whales. This is laughable to me for a
couple of reasons first of all when you are a musician of that stature you cannot
control who when where or in what context your music is played. I can almost guarantee
that at some point in time some lunatic preformed a horrible rape and kill to
the song “looks could kill”.
The next
reason I find this ludicrous is because you are fighting a facility that takes
pride in the treatment of animals about their treatment of animals. They are constantly
rescuing and helping aquatic animals recover and returning them to their
natural habitats once at full health. If you actually cared about the animals
then you would get behind an organization like this and not be trying to tear
them down. One of the major bonuses of these facilities is that it creates
public awareness of the horrors that we inflict on the environment.

This is just
an example of someone with money who feels like they need to be an activist and
taking a stupid stand against something that is for their cause not against it.
I get you have oodles of money Tommy but next time you want to take a stand for
or against something do your research next time.
This is exactly the kind of person who obviously is well educated on the in and outs of the rules and regulations companies follow when it comes to handling animals. We should all listen to what a drug addicted, woman abuser has to say on the topic of equal treatment of animals right. This is the man who our children and nation should look towards on telling us what is ethical and humane.
I am a
fairly jaded person in life and I know that if you make a couple of google
searches you can find out just about anything you want to know about. So all I
had to do was type in a couple of words to lead me on a road of discovery about
the horrors of PETA. Check out this BULLSHIT, if you have a half hour of your
life Penn and Teller will tell you the in and outs of why PETA is not a
reasonable cult to join.
A little bit
of time and any knowledge is obtainable next time do the research before you
open your mouth. As the old adage says “think before you speak”
Sincerely
Urban Yeti
