Wow from around the Net: iPhone Sex Toy

TECHNOLOGY it has been shaping the way the world communicates with each other for over a century. Since the world famous Canadian inventor Alexander Graham Bell built the first phone the world has been steadily improving upon his creation. For those who know their history they know the Mr. Bell invented the telephone in his attempts to make the telegraph better. Which the telegraph was in turn was just an invention that projected Morse code farther than it ever could before then.

Essentially for years humans have been trying to find new and better ways to connect to one another. Today connecting with someone anywhere in the world is so different than it would have been a century ago. Hell with all of the massive leaps in innovation that have happened recently we are now communicating in ways the ten years ago were considered to be the ideas of science fiction.

In the middle of last week Apple finally got around to announcing the creation of the long awaited iPhone 5. It is the newest in the line of iPhone products which when they first hit the market were one of the biggest leaps forward in technology. The new iPhone announcement as it always does caused quite a big stir in the technological community.

I myself am an iPhone user but I am not the stand in line and pay oodles of money to get the new model type. I use it as what it is, a smart phone and I prefer the simplicity of the phone for my day to day uses, I am not the brand loyal type. I saw this rebuttal commercial to the iPhone 5 announcement done by the Samsung Galaxy S III, and I found it to be quite funny.

Check it out:

Also other news on the art of improving communication with loved ones through the use of modern technology. Kickstarter has kicked a different advancement in communicating off of their site, due to being a little too racy for them. I am talking about a sex toy made by LovePals that can allow you to get your partner off from anywhere in the world. By the use of Bluetooth technology these sex toys, name Zeus and Hera, allow you to control the sensations your partner feels.

This is a very interesting concept when you think about it and if you want to get in on the ground floor and invest check it out for yourself.

If you choose invest in this tech here: Zeusand Hera

We defiantly live in a very interesting time that is for sure.

Wow from around the Net: Giant Robots

We Dig Giant Robots!!!!

Megas XLR is one of the cartoons in the last decade that Brudar and myself agree is one of the best action cartoons. This gem of animation only ran for a whopping two whole seasons and I wish that there had been way more. The theme of this show will is on I will always carry with me and any time people mention robots I have to refrain for bursting into song.

Megas XLR is not what I plan on talking about however I wanted to share with you something way cooler, Actual Giant Robots. Man driven Mechanical Armor, or Mechs for short, are a major theme in a lot of anime and children’s cartoons and have been a topic for most geeks. These Mech Geeks have been busy at works it seems trying, as all geeks do, to bring their fantasy into reality.

Introducing the mighty KURATAS the latest leap forward in Mech suit technology is a project by Suidobashi Heavy Industry. This Geek project taken to the next level will probably mean that soon enough Mechs will be made by the Military. KURATAS has some pretty cool features including the smile shooter, essentially the twin BB Gatling gun is activated when you smile, which I think it would be hard not to smile while sitting in such an awesome piece of geek technology.

They even made a handy how to operate instructional video Check it out

Oh crap now that song is stuck in my head… YOU DIG GIANT ROBOTS, I DIG GIANT ROBOTS, WE DIG GIANT ROBOTS, CHICKS DIG GIANT ROBOTS …… nice

Recipe Minion is an awesome app

Gone are the days of recipe cards of yesteryear with hand written cue cards depicting the recipes bestowed upon us by our admiring grandmothers. So to keep with the times I decided that I needed to find a way to digitize my personal cook book while still being able to add to it.
My biggest need however was to make it portable so I could look up a recipe and what it needed while wandering about the local grocery store.
I have been on the prowl for a while now, hunting and searching for an illusive treasure. My goal, to discover an app with a purpose but not just any old purpose but one that allows me to document my recipes. At first I thought that would be an easy task because if I had thought of it then surely so had someone else, someone who possessed the skills necessary to create the product for which I need. Alas that for weeks I searched only to find apps filled with many a recipe but non where I could create mine own.
Until yesterday when I finally found my rosette stone hidden in the app store. Recipe Minion! If you are like me and make your own recipes or even just compile them from around the net then this is the app you need. No sharing with others just, or making user names or just an already built cook book.

The app is fairly straight forward and gives appropriate sections to add all the details necessary for any good recipe. The bright colours make it fun for me to use and I absolutely adore the adorable little recipe minion who is the mascot for the app.

I seriously think that all the chefs and recreational cooks should get this app for themselves.
