WTF!: Topless Teacher??

Mentally I have hit a road block when it comes to my creativity, I don’t know what this is due to but I am trying to overcome my issues. As of lately I am finding it increasingly harder to find the motivation needed to push myself forward. This feeling is something that I am hoping to get over and push through purely by sheer force of will. So I am going to force myself to write about anything that I find interesting in an attempt to get past this mental blockade.

To kick start my creative juices I decided that I was going to put out my opinion about something that is a buzz in the news today. This morning I read a report about a teacher that was under scrutiny from the public because of the contents of her twitter account. The reason for the public outcry is because of some “topless” photos that she posted and a few of her tweets were about using marijuana.

My first thought upon hearing there are topless pictures of a 23 year old high school teacher was, this reminds me of that other teacher with a porn video. Then I thought damn those must be some very hot and scandalous photos to make her lose her job. After I looked them up I discovered that it was quite the contrary to what I thought, so much in fact that I can post these pictures and not feel the need to mark this post as NSFW.

This is the photo that is on the verge of costing a young lady her job really? I have seen riskier photos in sports illustrated swimsuit edition than what is going on in this picture. To be quite honest it stuff like this should not be all that crazy considering all the photos put out by the celebrity population. Hell if Kim Kardashian can have a sex tape floating around the net and still have little girls look up to her and want to be like her then how is this even a blib on the radar. If this teacher loses her job than essentially the population will be saying that it is ok if you are famous to do what you want but otherwise you must be a nun to stay employed.

The next issue that the school board and parents have with this teachers twitter account is her reference to drug use. First off on this congratulations Colorado on taking a step forward and legalizing pot and then taking two steps backwards and scrutinizing someone for obeying the new law. However I will agree that her tweet about having drugs on the premises while the cops do a drug bust was not very smart on her part.

Ultimately what people do in their spare time, if it is not against the law, should be up to them what they want to do. Honestly if every teacher had their private lives come into investigation by their employers then there would be a lot of skeletons coming out of the woodwork that would cause a large amount of layoffs. No employer should be able to tell you what you can and cannot do when you are not on the company clock. Any court that rules in favor of the school board in this is essentially taking the first steps towards creating an cooperate run world where the companies rule everyone of their employees lives.

Keep freedom of speech alive and keep hot teachers in the classroom, to make those awkward teenage years twice as hard.

WTF!: RIP Amanda Todd

I am feeling like I am in kind of a serious mood today and there is an opinion of mine that I need to get off my chest. A certain name has been making the rounds on the internet and in the news this past couple weeks, AMANDA TODD.

Before I get into this I am going to start by outright saying that I am violently opposed to bulling in any aspect. My junior high school and elementary school days had a lot of times where I was picked on by kids bigger than me. Let me also say that I am also extremely against suicide, I myself went through a dark time and considered it but as I look back now I realize that if I had gone through with it I would not have met my beautiful Wifey.

So if you are not up to date on the whole story behind this girl let me say it is fairly sad tale and has a sad ending. I did not know this girl and the reason that I am talking about it is that the topic hits very close to home for me. Before she committed suicide Amanda made a video depicting her story and posted it on Youtube.

Time for me to toss my two cents in on this topic, first of all let me say suicide should never be an option. Her first action should have been when the first guy contacted her saying he wanted a show I would have contacted the police saying that he was harassing her to make child pornography or at least told her parents about it. I know people will say that she felt like she was trapped and forced to but she wasn’t, she had options.

Secondly when she moved the first time change your name and drop all contact with your previous life. She maintained contact with people from her life before and that is how the harassers and bullies found her again. This may sound like a strange concept to the younger generation but you can opt to not have or use Facebook. Also if you choose to maintain a Facebook account when this happens you can report abuse and have people kicked off of Facebook. Time for a fun Facebook fact, every picture you put on to the site becomes legal property of the company so therefore Facebook owns the picture of her boobs and can claim all the rights to it across the internet.

So far for those who are not keeping track the people in possession of this photo of this girls breasts can and should be charged with, Harassment, Sexual Harassment, owning and distributing Child Pornography and copyright infringement. Sorry about that but my inner Lawyer just reared his ugly head.

Next up after the girl assaulted her about a stupid asshole guy who slept with her she chose not to press charges. Guess what you are underage and therefore not your choice whether or not you want to, it is your parents choice and they should of. Also the girl in the beating did so while trespassing on private government property.

To all those idiot kids who chose to harass a girl who had just tried to commit suicide by making fun of her failed attempt… WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!!!!! Think it is funny now, she did what you told her to do and now there is one less person in the world. Another family is in shambles because of you thought someone’s mistakes and inner turmoil is funny.

There are a lot of people in my mind who deserve to have the legal system rain down hell fire upon them right now.

The Saddest part about all of this to me is this, No one tried to help her. 75 people filmed a girl being beat instead of stepping forward and trying to help her, it only takes one person to make a change. I hope that all of those people sit there now and realize that they could have helped and that would have saved the life of a girl. I know I am thinking that if I was there I would have kicked that other girl right off of her and stopped the violence.

Everyone is acting now people in the government across the country are trying to bring in more extreme laws against bullies. Communities are coming together to support a cause and others who have suffered and survived are coming forward. It is too late to save one girl but maybe her pain will help to change the world… it only takes one person to make change happen.

I am sorry for the rant, bullies really get me mad, if I could give them a taste of their own medicine I would. An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind let us all work together to make this world a better place and stomp out bullies. Amanda Todd is not the first to take her life because of bullies but let us try to save those who are suffering the same. Let all of those voices that have for so long gone unheard finally get a chance to be on the public stage.

Wow from arond the Net: Pulp Fiction Hero

Most guys, especially geek guys, dream that one day they will be involved in a terrible situation where they have to rise to the occasion. As a part of this fantasy we tend to hope that while that incident is happening we will be able to deliver an epic badass monolog. After years of watching action movies where our heroes challenge the bad guys all while being aloof and witty we have it ingrained that hopefully we will be able to do that too one day.

For one movie geek who has spent too much time watching these action movies that dream finally came true. A man down in Arizona this month stopped a couple of thieves who were trying to rob a café that he was dinning in. How did he do it? He stopped them dead in their tracks when they tried to take his wallet by quoting the Tarantino classic Pulp Fiction

Paul Horner was standing there in the middle of a situation that was about to go south when he had a choice, bend over backwards or take a stand. He was contemplating what to do when he got a flash of inspiration from none other than his wallet, a replica pulp fiction wallet. It was in this moment that he began to quote the famous monolog done by Samuel L Jackson during the scene of similar circumstances. 

I bet that Paul went home thanked whatever God he prays to, crossed that off of his Bucket list and then probably threw on the film itself, because in all reality that is what I would probably do. I wonder if Quinten Tarantino or Samuel L Jackson heard about this if they would call him and congratulate him on this accomplishment because that would be more than awesome.

This strange news story is the perfect example of how a geekdom can change your life for the better. If it had not been for this man’s love of film he would not have had a muse to motivate him into action and save the day. I am sure if interviewed this man would recommend the film because it was a life changing experience for him.

WTF!: Bulling Elders

I am outraged and there is no better way I think for me to express how I am feeling about what I just watched. In my younger years I was picked on and as an adult whenever I see or hear about people being bullied I almost fly off the handle. Right now my hands are shaking with furry and I can feel tears forming in my eyes I am so disturbed. If this was physical paper and not just an electronic file there would defiantly be tear stains upon the page and I am not afraid to admit it.

 This is a video that has circled the internet of some children that are harassing an old lady who works as a monitor on their school bus. Not only do I feel awful about the ordeal that this woman has suffered but the levels that these little runts went to just so they could make and watch an elderly woman cry. Watching these feral children harasses this old lady and she just sits there and takes it makes me want to freaking puke.

To make matters worse at the end of this clip the filthy little brats go on to say that all her family would rather kill themselves then be around her. This is so extremely Low it is unbelievable even for children who should be considered the scum of the earth. The particular ridicule is also so harsh considering that this lovely lady’s eldest son committed suicide 10 years prior to this incident.

I blame the parents who raised these malicious brats children learn their actions from their parents. If I had kids and I ever found out they were being bullies there would be hell to pay and I can promise you that. These adolescent’s parents should be sued for harassment and these kids should have to face the same ridicule that they bestowed upon their elder.

Well it looks like one of the fathers of the little monster has stepped forward and personally apologized to this lovely grandmother. To me it seems that this father is trying to get his spot in the spotlight for fifteen minutes but the apologies needs to start somewhere. No one ever deserves or should have to tolerate what these creatures who do not deserve to be called humans have done to her.

The whole world has stepped up to the plate to give support and help to this woman has been mistreated. It all started with a Canadian man in Toronto who started a site in attempt to raise five thousand dollars to send this grandmother and her family on a trip and it grew into something much bigger. On Thursday last week Max Sidorov presented the abused Karen Klein with a check for a whopping 703,000 dollars.
